Underrated strategy games hiding on mobile

Mobile strategy gets dominated by a few giant names, which is a shame because the indie corner is where the clever ideas live.

Ironline Command is the one I keep recommending. It's a lean RTS that's always making you fight from behind, so every match feels like a proper puzzle instead of a numbers game.

What makes strategy work on a phone is a good pause system and readable units. If I can't tell my scout from my tank at a glance, the game's already lost me.

Play these in short campaigns rather than marathon sessions. The tension holds up better when you come back fresh.
